Gabriela gives her time and energy to support the organisation, help it grow and reach more people who need mobility support.
ReStart Mobility CIC provides affordable refurbished mobility equipment in the UK and reinvests its income to support disabled people and families who cannot afford essential equipment in the UK and Romania.
We combine practical support with a sustainable social-enterprise model so that every donation, purchase and partnership can help more people.
We source wheelchairs, hoists, beds and other mobility equipment across the UK.
Where a suitable donation is unavailable, we aim to buy the equipment a person urgently needs.
Equipment is cleaned, checked and prepared responsibly before reuse.
Selected refurbished equipment is offered at prices below typical market rates, with flexible options considered where appropriate.
Income supports people who cannot afford essential mobility equipment in the UK and Romania.
For 19 years, I have dedicated my career to supporting people with physical disabilities, complex care needs and life-changing conditions.
Throughout those years, I have witnessed how the right mobility equipment can restore independence, reduce isolation and give people the confidence to live with dignity.
These experiences inspired me to establish ReStart Mobility CIC, a UK Community Interest Company committed to collecting, purchasing, refurbishing and delivering essential mobility equipment to those who need it most.
Our mission goes beyond providing equipment. We are building a sustainable social enterprise that reinvests every surplus into helping people with disabilities across the United Kingdom and Romania.
Your donation will help ReStart Mobility collect, purchase, refurbish, store and transport essential mobility equipment.
Every contribution helps restore mobility, dignity and independence.
Our work is about practical equipment, safer care and the freedom to live with greater independence.
ReStart Mobility is powered by people who believe that disability should never mean losing dignity, opportunity or independence.

You do not need specialist experience to make a difference. We welcome people who can offer time, practical help, professional skills or a voice in their community.
Do you have equipment that is no longer needed? We would be grateful to hear from individuals, care providers, mobility businesses and community organisations.
Direct donations help us respond quickly to urgent needs and cover collection, refurbishment and delivery costs.
